Afterlife is the label and event brand founded by Tale Of Us — the Italian duo of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri — that turned melodic techno into a full-scale audiovisual show. Ask anyone who has stood in front of one: it doesn't feel like a DJ set. It feels like cinema you can dance to.

From label to universe

Afterlife started as an imprint releasing the darker, more emotional side of techno. What set it apart was worldbuilding: a consistent visual identity, a mythology of its own and shows designed as narrative experiences rather than lineups. The brand's events in Ibiza and on tour became pilgrimage dates for a global audience.

Enter Anyma

Anyma is Matteo Milleri's solo project — the point where melodic techno meets digital art. Humanoid avatars, generative visuals and screens the size of buildings: Anyma's Genesys shows pushed electronic music production into territory previously reserved for stadium pop, culminating in a landmark residency at Sphere in Las Vegas that put techno on the world's most advanced screen.

For a media brand like ours, Anyma shows are peak material. Our Genesys clip from Afterlife Miami passed 9.6 million plays — and our three-clip Anyma case study cleared 5 million plays organically. When the show is built for the eyes, the camera does the rest.

Why Afterlife clips travel

Where the sound came from

Afterlife didn't appear in a vacuum. It's the sharpest expression of a wider wave — melodic techno's climb from warehouse afterhours to festival main stages. We trace that full arc in from warehouse to main stage.

TM101 has captured Anyma, Adriatique, Carl Cox and Tomorrowland for an audience of 1.3M+ across platforms. If you want your show covered the same way, that's what 1on1 is for — or just get in touch.
